This large 3 bedroom (2 bed plus a Loft) unit has beautiful views of the Sherwin Mountains out of every window. The unit was remodeled a few years ago with new calico pecan cabinets and granite counter tops in the kitchen and the Master bathroom. Wood floors in the living room/dining room and beautiful Quartzite tile floors in the kitchen and master bath. The master bath floor is heated for your comfort. The master bathroom has double sinks and a large walk-in shower with 2 shower heads. The master bedroom has a California King, Bedroom #2 has a tall log custom bunk with a queen on the bottom and an XL twin on top and the loft has a tall log custom bunk with a queen on bottom, XL Twin on top and XL Twin in a trundle drawer. The second bathroom has a single sink and tub/shower combo and the bathroom in the loft also has a single sink and tub/shower combo. Sleeps 6 comfortably and there are beds for 8 (maximum people for the unit).
The living room dining room area is large and very comfortable with a nice wood burning fireplace and a hearth to sit on to warm your back. The table seats 6 and there is a long wooden bar that has 3 stools between the kitchen and the dining area. The large sofa and chair in the living room are a great place to sit and relax, read a book, watch the flat screen TV, or just admire the beauty of the mountains and trees outside. Complimentary secure WiFi. There is also a sunny south facing deck with 2 chairs which can be a relaxing place to enjoy the mountain air.
The Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook and serve any size meal. There is a crock pot, waffle iron, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, toaster and a blender. Plenty of platters, plates, drinking glasses, wine glasses, and silverware makes serving your meal a breeze. There is a Weber propane BBQ on the deck which uses the small green propane canisters.
From parking garage to the front door is all indoors so no snowy or icy walkways. There are 2 vehicles allowed in the parking garage with a maximum of a 7-foot clearance. There are no elevators so you do have several flights of stairs to the unit from the parking garage. The condo is on the back side of the building so no stairwells connect to any walls so it is very quiet.
A ski locker at Canyon Lodge available for your use, take off your boots put on your comfy shoes and walk or ride the Blue Line home(instructions are in the unit). Mountainback is walking distance to Canyon Lodge (uphill) or The Village, and the Village Gondola (downhill to shopping and restaurants). The Blue Line Shuttle (Winter) & the Trolley (Nights & Summer) stops just to the left at the end of the driveway and will take you to the Village or on up to Canyon Lodge. The Mammoth Trail System is just across Lake Mary Road behind our building. You can bike or walk down to town or up to the lakes. Park your car in the underground parking and forget it for the rest of your trip. No shoveling out of the snow or hot car when it is time to head home. Perfect for skiing/snowboarding in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer! The premises has 6 Jacuzzis, 1 sauna and 1 swimming pool open in the summer with BBQ area! Washer & dryer in the unit! There are many sightseeing activities you can check out nearby; like Mammoths Consolidated Mine, or Sotcher Lake! Yosemite is only 40 minutes away.
